Consider adopting a pig in need

In April of 2023, we were made aware of over 150 pot belly pigs being kept and bred in the backyard of an Alpine home.

They were covered in mites and mange, some starved to literal death, their corpses just rotting away amongst the living.

After extraction from the property, it was determined that there were almost 30 pregnant females. Now there are over 200 total pigs between the ages of 4 months and around 2 years.

now they are safe, healthy,

And looking for their forever homes

Right now, the 200 pigs have been divided up and are being cared for at 6 different San Diego local sanctuaries. But this is not sustainable. We must fight to find them safe, loving homes. They have all been spayed and neutered to prevent any further tragedies like this coming from this case. These babies didn’t ask to be brought into such horrible conditions. They deserve a peaceful life where they can feel safe.

If you or anyone you know might be interested in adopting one of these piglets, please click the application link below.
